Actor Vijay delighted fans recently as he sported a clean-shaven look on the sets of his upcoming film, “The Greatest of All Time.” The star, who was leaving the set and heading towards his car, took a moment to acknowledge the enthusiastic crowd of fans gathered around. Walking towards them, he waved and exchanged greetings before leaving.
This appearance marks a departure from Vijay’s recent looks in films. The actor, known for his versatile appearances, last embraced a clean-shaven look in the early 2000s, seen in films such as “Sachien,” “Ghilli,” “Thirupaachi,” and “Sivakasi.” Decades later, Vijay has once again adopted this look, with fans quick to notice that the outfit he wore on set was the same from a pre-production photoshoot.
Vijay’s public relations representative, Jagadish, shared a photo of the actor taking a ‘trademark groupie’ with his fans, showcasing the star’s infectious smile and fans waving in the background.
In a viral video, Vijay can be seen joyously waving at fans and blowing kisses into the air.
Vijay’s appearance in “The Greatest of All Time” has sparked curiosity and speculation. The initial posters depict him as an elderly intellectual and a spirited young man, leading fans to wonder if he plays a father-son duo in the film. Speculations also suggest that the movie, commonly referred to as GOAT, might involve a sci-fi theme related to time travel, with both characters potentially representing the same person from different timelines.
Apart from Vijay, the film features Meenakshi Chaudhry, Sneha, Laila, Prashanth, Prabhudheva, and Mohan in pivotal roles. The music, composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, adds to the anticipation, and the movie is slated for release in 2024. Following “The Greatest of All Time,” Vijay is expected to collaborate with Atlee for a new project, with rumors circulating that Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan might also play a lead role in the film.
