Silchar: COVID-19 warriors and plasma donors from BSF, social activists and journalist stood on one platform for the honours bestowed on them by Vivekananda Kanyakumari Kendra (VKK) of Karimganj. On this great occasion, educationist Lopamudra Choudhury, coordinator of the Kendra, calling the BSF jawans as true patriots, said, “These brave and valiant soldiers on the frontline are not only protecting the borders of the country, but also setting exemplary examples by donating plasma to save human lives. They deserve to be complimented profoundly.” She exhorted the members of the VKK to salute the great heroes and warriors. They are the pride and glory of the nation. Lopamudra Choudhury pointed out the greatest problem around the globe today is COVID-19 pandemic and the best and most effective way to defeat it is plasma.
